Value Clothing, Inc. has been very fortunate over the years to supply less fortunate
countries with goods that the United States takes for granted. We accept the following
used or new items (please click on underlined items for a detailed description):
**Items do not have to be sorted, but they
need to be dry and placed in plastic bags or cardboard boxes.
We go to great expense to furnish on-site trailers, provided by our in-house freight
company, R.J. Transports, Inc. Each trailer can store the items we purchase.
Currently we have over 300 trailers in service at various locations across the Southeast.
After being in business for 41 years, we know timely trailer switches are important to you.
Therefore, we provide trailer switches in as little as three to four business days, if not
sooner.
Our trailers are easy to place on location, load, move, and haul. In most cases, a
dropped trailer is the best option for our suppliers. Call Chris Trivette at (704) 638-

Our Institutional Clothing is sold in 1,000-1,200 pound compacted bales contained by
strapping with cardboard at each end. A 20-foot container can carry approximately
22,000 pounds of used clothing and a 40-foot high-cube container can carry
approximately 43,000 to 44,000 pounds. In 2006 our company shipped over
34,000,000 pounds of clothes. In 2007 we increased our clothing shipments by 12%,
shipping over 38,000,000 pounds of clothes. That gave us an average of shipping
147,342 pounds per day.
We are NOT a grader of used clothing. We bring the clothing in from different
institutions all over the southeastern United States and bale it up directly. We do NOT
sort the clothing in any way. However, our shoes are paired and banded together,
purses and belts are also kept together.
